GeoMoments Vs. Geo-Fencing
Traditional Geo-Fencing has many restrictions which limit its effectiveness. For example, Geo- fencing requires users to opt-in whereas GeoMoments requires no opt in. Geo-Fencing is only able to serve ads while the user is in the area and cannot follow the user home. Fencing uses cell towers and Moments uses latitude and longitude. Fencing serves only in real time, Moments just requires a user to be served an ad, can be traced back to the household IP address, and can go back in time 6 months.
